I want school work to go away,
And never come another day.
Let all my yearmates come and stay;
We'd talk and laugh and shop and play.
And if we were about to pay,
The boss'd say, "Oh, it's okay."
But nothing's ever what I say...
If only things would go my way.

Finally I'm blogging again. Okay I have many updates so just deal with me. I'll summarise most of my updates I guess. Well, at least I'll try to. Well, whatever, let's not waste any more words.
First update. You know the National Day skit competition I blogged about in my last entry? Well, my class won first prize!! It did turn out okay, and everybody was laughing at the correct parts. We did try to add a lot of humour into it so that it wouldn't be too educational. So although I came out a bit too late for the Japanese soldier thing and Trisha (acting as the witch) had her hat flying off her head twice when she made her entrances, I guess all that practices were worth it. The present was 2 big packets of small packets of sweets and chocolates, and of course everybody received one small packet each. It was given out during the PSL session afterwards, which I have yet to blog about. Anyway, I think the climax of the whole competition thingy was not the prize-giving, but the performance itself. It was very enjoyable narrating and seeing the audience laughing.
Second update. We had our last PSL session for this year right after the National Day celebrations for an hour. We were like sitting in a circle and the PSLs were talking about how PSL sessions have been for them. Oh and as farrewell present, they gave us green shoelaces with glitter on. Green represents Buckle house, and the glitter was self-stuck! I mean they bought the laces at Far East Plaza, then they sat down and started hand-putting glitter onto the laces. That's so sweet. Oh yeah Jia Cong (a PSL) was saying like, "Some of the CCAs are very disciplined, sometimes I walk past, I really think I admire them." Then she looked up and asked, "Who here is from Red Cross?" Then Juliet and I looked at each other and raised our hands. Then she was like, "I saw you all before, in the quandrangle. You all were like, listening to the seniors like so obedient. Oh yeah, have you all seen them greeting their seniors before? Ya, I thought they are very disciplined lar, because they greet their seniors everytime they see them. Like NCC..." then she went on. Then Tammy (another PSL) asked us, "Do you all know Geraldine [ma'am]? Is she very fierce?" Juliet and I just looked at each other and smiled at her because we didn't dare answer that question. I think if we answered it, Tammy would tell Geraldine ma'am about it and then the next time we see her we wouldn't know where to hide our faces. Anyway. Then a few seconds after that, the door opened. I was sitting with my back facing towards the door and Juliet was on the other corner of the room. So, like everybody else, I turned around to look at the person who came in. I saw a few SPSLs and... Yan Lin ma'am! I was like ohmygosh did she see me? And I quickly turned back around. Then Juliet and I were like mouthing at each other to greet her and everybody was staring at us because they know we have to greet. I mean we just talked about it and she came in. So we went like, 1, 2, 3, Morning ma'am. I think she didn't hear us but heck care. I'm not re-greeting her and humiliating myself again. That's all for second update.
Third update. Unit chalet after that was very fun. And more than half of the unit turned up and I have to admit that I was surprised. So we had year practice for our pop performance one last time after the PSL session, then we went for year lunch at KFC at Far East Plaza. Then we thought we were running late. So we took MRT to Pasir Ris, then took a bus and alighted at the next stop when we could actually alight at the second one. But we didn't know at that time so we just alighted and walked a long long way to Costa Sands Resort. We got lost for a while but we just followed our intuition.We walked past this house with a big black dog at the gate. It was barking at us so loudly and jumping at the gate we were all really afraid it would jump high over the gate and get us. At least I was. But my yearmates were very nice and those who weren't scared comforted the rest and tried to make us walk faster past it. Anyway, when we finally reached there, we realised we were early by 45 minutes, so we sat and waited and waited and took many many pictures and chit-chatted and buffed our nails. In other words try to pass time lah. But the Sec 2 ma'ams came 15 minutes late, so we waited an hour before they arrived, and after a while they brought us to the chalet we booked. There were 2 connected units, and each unit has a room upstairs with two beds, a small kitchen and a toilet downstairs and a space with a small televsision on the wall. The Sec 2 ma'ams allowed us to choose first, so we took a vote and got the space in the same unit as the Sec 3 ma'ams. You see, the Sec 3 ma'ams and the Sec 4 ma'ams take the rooms, because after all they are of higher rank than us, so we had to sleep downstairs at the space with the television. Unknowingly, we chose the side with the working television. The television on the Sec 2 ma'ams side was spoiled. So blah blah, we went outside to play games beside the pool. It was very very very hot there. Then since the Sec 3 ma'ams arrived already, 2 of them followed and split us into 2 groups so they could be in charge of a group each. Then we played the 10 cent coin game and a few other games and Jia Yan ma'am and Xin Xuan kept losing so they had to do forfeit. Xin Xuan's forfeit, thought up by the Sec 2 ma'ams in our group, was to approach any of the ma'ams and say, "Ma'am, you are so _____." She should fill in the blank herself, and she can spproach any ma'am as long as it's not a Sec 2 ma'am from our group. So she went up to Fang Yi ma'am and said, " Ma'am, you are so wonderful." Which isn't anything much but at least it's something. But then we had to think of a forfeit for Jia Yan ma'am to do too, along the lines of Jia Yan ma'am thinking that Nicole ma'am is chio, because it's true. So I suggested she go up to Nicole ma'am when the ma'ams suggest we play together and sit in a circle and say, "Ma'am, you are so chio, can I sit with you?" which is worse than Xin Xuan's forfeit but very fun. She did do it the following morning, when my yearmates and me thought they had forgotten all about it. And she was so embarrassed, especially when Nicole ma'am replied, "Uhh, okay." and made a space for her beside herself. And Nicole ma'am was sitting with her own yearmates. But anyway Jia Yan ma'am didn't sit down there. She came back to where her year was. Sigh. The reason why I gave that opportunity as a forfeit was so that she could sit beside the person she thought was chio. Ahh heck care. Then she was like glaring at me the whole day. So scary. I have been avoiding her since then. She wants to sabo me so much. Oh yeah and the night before the Sec 2 ma'ams were making so much noise. It was so difficult to sleep, and I kept waking up to their screams or whatever sounds they made which entered my dreams and made them nightmares. And I wasn't feeling well. Really, they were very noisy. Next year, when my year become seniors, we're going to at least close the door. Really disturbing my sleep. Never mind. Oh yeah and if you're hoping I'm going to blog about the 'sweating', I'm not. I just feel I shouldn't add more sadness onto the atmosphere, but I guess most of them are slightly okay with the idea now. Anyway. Our performance was okay, and the ma'ams liked the ending part when we raised our hands the unit way and said, "Permission to love you, ma'ams." I know because I read their blogs afterwards. Haha. The Sec 2 ma'ams can't say anything ma'am-like to that because I know they read the seniors' blogs too. And if they're reading this then they're invading their juniors' privacy as well. Anyway. Chelsea ma'am now knows I favour her over the rest due to that truth or truth game we played. So unfair. The first time Mei Ling ma'am spinned the bottle, it pointed to me, then I had to leak my secret (it was a double secret, okay) and after that nobody else played because the Sec 2 ma'ams came in when the Sec 3 ma'ams left for a while. Sigh.
Aahh whatever. I just don't feel like blogging anymore. Maybe next time then. Tata.
i'm still here.
