I want school work to go away,
And never come another day.
Let all my yearmates come and stay;
We'd talk and laugh and shop and play.
And if we were about to pay,
The boss'd say, "Oh, it's okay."
But nothing's ever what I say...
If only things would go my way.

I'm sorry if I sound emo. I'll get over it soon enough. Maybe, or maybe not.

The façade of a moon steals your breath away
Like a diamond against forlorn emptiness of blank canvas,
But its brilliance is borrowed from the radiance of the Sun –
The only existence strikingly beautiful in your eyes,
Flushing out the stars and the moon
From the tapestry of innocence and tranquility of your heaven,
From the delicate path your dreamy gaze traces.

And whether the moon is turning your way at the mere shadow of hope,
Or beaming for your attention till its complexion stiffens,
Or retreating to nurse sorrow and dejection,
When the Sun makes its presence,
The moon drowns in its rich magnificence.
For although the humble phenomenal stretch it has from you
Is the moon’s crowning exultance,
Your heart-felt emotions transcend physical boundaries
To resonate as one with the unrestrained passion of the Sun.

Whatever destiny lies in the positioning of the stars tonight,
The age-old wisdom of surrendered history
Stirs restless spirits in the forming of a disturbing prophecy.
For surely, eternally, the moon will suffocate
In the bleak darkness of its suffering.
But the blame lies lost
In a black hole of limitless time and space,
Held in, like the stifling of a silent sob.
Undoubtedly, your heart, your memories, your existence…
Your universe revolves with fierce loyalty around the Sun.

Please don't rip this off.

"I'm not sure if you can see the moon tonight, but it's really pretty :) how should I put this, surely there are people out there who like the moon for just being what it is, not too glaring that you can't even look at it, serene. The sun might seem all great, but the moon holds its own sets of meaning precisely coz it reflects..." - Charlotte

Thank you =) it's when you are down that you can see who is there for you when you need it most. I should learn to appreciate the friends around me more.

But the Sun is still the ultimate pillar of all survival, the middle of your universe, and the moon is still just that.
And I still feel like a moon. =(

i'm still here.
